New Bridges for Haitian Success’ mission is to empower and serve the Haitian and Afro-Caribbean communities by providing culturally attuned direct programs, legal services, basic needs, and partnerships.

What we do
What we do
What we do
NB4HS provides employment, education, immigration, health, advocacy, and human services. Programmatically, these activities include:

Employment skills training
-
Computer training leading to Microsoft Office Certifications

Job placement services/care counseling

English for Speakers of Other Languages (Basic 1 & 2 and Intermediate 1 Levels)

Counseling and advice concerning immigration concerns: completing applications, setting appointments, and employment eligibility processes.

Assistance in accessing health care, application assistance, and referrals to Medicaid support specialists. Hosting workshops on various topics germane to the Haitian community.

Human services include basic needs, housing, case management, and crisis intervention.

Founded in 2013, New Bridges for Haitian Success, Inc. (NB4HS), a registered 501(c)(3) organization, has a mission to help Haitian immigrants assimilate to life in Rhode Island through community-level services that support well-being and positive decision making to promote a connected Haitian community with access to increased opportunities and economic empowerment.
My name is Fritzner, I was a student at NB4HS. The teachers were very professional. In the computer class, I had the chance to participate in a Microsoft Word class, now I understand Microsoft Word better, and I can send a professional email. They helped with my resume and helped me apply for jobs. I am now working for Amazon in Johnston, and I can communicate with anyone better than before.
Good morning everyone, my name Regeante, I'm a student at Nb4hs, and as an immigrant, I advise you to register at NB4HS. Everyone is very nice and encourage you to move forward. They have English classes for 3 levels, and the computer class was very hepful, the teacher helped me with my resume. and with the help they gave me, I worked at walmart, and now i’m working at a nursing home, thanks for the help. before i came to the school my english was low, but now my english is better, and i can talk to my coworkers better, i understand better too.
Being at NB4HS I learn a lot of different them words to express myself Especially of the history of my land Haiti. I'm grateful for the Haitian organization to help of all of us succeeds. we bless to have 2 great teachers. I feel great also to be with my Haitian community,
